Fall Fair Fun in Brock!

It is time to celebrate the season with fall festivities! Come to Sunderland for a magical pumpkin theme fall fair and get ready to enjoy the harvest season with friends and family!  

The 170th Sunderland Agricultural Fall Fair is the oldest Fair in Durham Region starting 5 p.m. on Tuesday September 12 and 9 a.m. September 13. Come by Tuesday to see the classic car, vintage tractors and watch the lawn tractor pull in the grandstand. The pet show and horse pull will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed up by some live entertainment in the beer garden.

This midweek fair has always been focused on the Youth of Brock township and kicks off Wednesday with a parade of School Cheers from them local elementary schools. Come by the arena for some craft demonstrations and check out all the exhibits. The kids will get a chance to bounce all day long in the the exciting bouncy castles before checking out the horse, beef, poultry rabbit and 4-H shows. The barrel racing runs from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and make sure you get a seat for the demolition derby which starts 7:00 p.m. in the grandstands. From delicious food to amazing activities, you will not want to miss out on these fun filled days.

The Beaverton Fall Fair begins at [noon] on Friday, September 15 and it is set to be a great two days! This year’s theme is “Blue Jeans & Country Dreams,” and we cannot wait to see all the Theme Posters that the kids submit for it.

The Beaverton Fall Fair has an excellent mix of events for everyone on both Friday and Saturday. The Fair kicks off with the parade from The Beaverton Public Library to the fairgrounds, along Simcoe and Main Streets, starting at 12:15 p.m. The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 12:45 PM and, after that, the Beaverton Fall Fair will be underway! 

Vendors, entertainment, education, and excitement can be found Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16. The Junior Gymkhana Horse Show is set to begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 16, followed by Open Horse Show at noon. There will be Barrel Racing, Dash for Cash, and Pole Bending in both shows, among other amazing equestrian events. The Homecraft submissions will be on display for the duration of the Fair, and they are always fantastic. If you plan to submit anything, make sure you’ve filled out your registration form and can submit it before the 8:30 PM deadline on Thursday, September 14.
