There are many things to do at the Township of Brock waterfront. Whether it’s cruising the waterways, getting active with water sports or picnicking on the sandy shores of Beaverton Harbour, our waterfront has something for visitors and residents alike. The splash pad is sure to keep the kids entertained for hours!

The Township of Brock is the Smallmouth Bass Fishing Capital of Canada and we welcome you to check out some of the summer fishing Tournaments happening at Beaverton Harbour. Canada Day weekend kicked off the Canadian Open Pro/Am Tournament at Beaverton Harbour with the winning weigh-ins at 54.20 lbs and 53.58 lbs.  July 15 and 16th weekend bring the CSFL Bronzeback Cup. Anglers will compete in this two-day tournament to see who will come out the champions and show off their best catch. Registration is still open, contact www.csfl.ca or call 1-905-640-2277

Get ready for the pink frenzy at the flamingo themed Beach Day in Beaverton on July 15th!  The party begins at Thorah Centennial Park in Beaverton, for an inclusive 2SLGBTQIA+ community and family fun filled day. This is a safe and welcoming event where everyone can truly be themselves.

The event will feature:

• Button making table
• Bubble blowing area
• Penned area with a giant tortoise and giant bunny
• Face painting
• Live music performances and a DJ
• Savor mouthwatering BBQ hotdogs and hamburgers
• Enjoy freezie and popsicle giveaways
• Join in some frisbee, beach ball and other fun games
• Take to the water with kayaks and SUP boards
• Explore the many bike trails
