Cannington Canada Day Festival & Classic and Custom Car & Truck Show

Cannington Canada Day celebrations for 2024 are well underway including the return of the classic and custom car & truck show! This year’s event will be another fun-filled full day of entertainment, food, celebration, activities, animals and classic and custom cars & trucks and more. The day-long Canada Day Festival and Classic and Custom Car & Truck Show will take place in MacLeod Park in Cannington.

An assortment of rides and inflatables will be in MacLeod Park to give everyone something to enjoy, and will be running from approximately 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. ALL ARE FREE COURTESY OF THE CANNINGTON LIONS CLUB

Weather permitting we’re expected a number of classic and custom cars & trucks to converge on Cannington for July 1st.  The public is welcomed to come down and check it out at no charge!  Take a tour of the Cannington Historical Society Museum and learn how life was like in a time far gone.

There will be lots to eat and drink at the Canada Day Festival.  The usual Lions BBQ and Concession area will be open the entire day serving up burgers, large hot dogs, and sausages.  There will also be an array of snacks including the popular candy floss. Food and drink will be purchased by ticket and the tickets will be sold at the main information table. Get a taste of the Cannington Haunted Trail by visiting the mini escape room and have a scary good time then stay for the evening firework show.

Beaverton Lions Canada Day Celebrations & Fireworks

This local celebration is produced as a community partnership with The Lions Club of Beaverton, local businesses and service groups, bringing multi-generational and family-friendly activities throughout the day and evening, sure to entertain festival goers all day long. Start the day with a pancake breakfast at the Fire Hall and windup at dusk with a spectacular fireworks display at the fairgrounds.

The kids can come and have the faces painted before the participate in the kids only fishing derby. Enjoy the Strawberry Shortcake Social at the Beaverton Thorah Eldon Historical Society and take a tour of the the Old Stone Jail. After a day of fun in the sun set up a blanket and setting in for an amazing fireworks display!
